This tall and resplendent heirloom species dahlia with 9' bamboo-like stalks are topped starting in late October with sprays of 3" pendant blooms that look down at you, with a single row of lavender/pink petals offset by its orange center. Totally spectacular garden specimen and super attractive to hummingbirds. Protect from frost first year; later cut back after a freeze.
